The Celtic League has warmly welcomed a move by the Isle of Man Constabulary to put Manx Gaelic markings on all its vehicles.
The Manx force was one of a number of Police Services throughout the Celtic countries which have been lobbied by the League's General Secretary, Rhisiart Tal-e-bot, over their attitude to Celtic culture and language.
Recently the Isle of Man Constabulary outlined the new move - see below:

|  elles sont flash les voitures de police là bas! j'imagine bien la tête de notre cher Mateu le jour où les bagnoles de flics seront estampillées policia d'occitania et que ça sera marqué establida sur le commissariat... _________________  le rapport de UNESCO sur les langues en danger démontre que la France menace sérieusement 26 langues ou dialectes en France: alémanique, basque, bourguignon, breton, champenois, corse, flamand occidental, franc-comtois, francique mosellan, francique rhénan, francoprovençal, gallo, ligurien, lorrain, normand, occitan (auvergnat, gascon, languedocien, limousin, provençal), picard et poitevin-saintongeais. |

Pourquoi ce serait une si bonne chose qu'ils aient leur propre police?
Quand tu vois la Ertzainza en Hegoalde, tu te dis pas qu'elle aide beaucoup les basques, bien au contraire...
